Abstract

Pain is an uncomfortable sensory and emotional feeling associated with soft tissue injuries. Lower back pain is one of the serious health problems in Indonesia. People aged over 65 years old in Central Java who experienced back pain were around 18.2% of male and 13.6% of female. Appropriate management was needed to overcome pain condition, such as using a pain killer or analgesic. The purpose of this research was to analyze the NSAID Analgesic drug usage percentage of the patients at Nurindra Farma Pharmacy from January to March 2021. This Analytic descriptive research type with a retrospective approach was used for observing past used drug data in order to analyzed the NSAID Analgesic drug usage percentage at Nurindra Farma Pharmacy from January to March 2021. The result showed the NSAID Analgesic drug usage percentage for 3 months were the most: Piroxicam 20 mg (62,27%), Ibuprofen 400 mg (11,8%), Mefenamic Acid 500 mg (9,04%), Diclofenac Potassium (6,64%), Meloxicam 7,5 mg (5,9%), Diclofenac Sodium 50 mg (3,54%), Meloxicam 15 mg (0,78%) Piroxicam 10 mg with zero percent (0%). Respectively Piroxicam 20 mg was classified into the NSAID Analgesic with the highese usage percentase from January until March 2021 at Nurindra Farma Pharmacy in Sukoharjo.
